He has led multidiscipline, multicultural teams on large complex and demanding infrastructure and building projects (up to $ A 1.8 Billion) including new town developments.
Paul’s extensive experience of over 19 years with Australia’s largest construction, engineering and infrastructure company, the Leighton Group, involved some of Australia’s and Asia’s largest and most complex projects. He has progressed negotiations in a number of high level forums at local, State and Federal level and has a high level of credibility with key government and non government organisations. He is a persuasive negotiator and a willing collaborator and is well connected. He works in and excels in environments which are constantly changing, and his experience in diverse settings and across multiple industries has enabled him to develop advanced conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills. These skills have led him to overcome many and varied challenges and to find innovative solutions, particularly in the early phases of project development.
Paul has led major projects at all stages of the development cycle from inception to completion including the Conceptualisation, Feasibility Study, Design, Financial Planning, and Implementation phases.
